Hello my lovely followers! This Tuesday's project is very simple, soft, and adorable! This easy v-stitch baby blanket can be adjusted to be much bigger to fit older children, teens, adults... whoever! In honor of my nephew being due very soon, I wanted to whip up blankets pretty fast, and already I am on my 3rd one... I really adore how the simple v-stitch creates a textured look that looks clean. Even the border is nice, and it's a simple single-crocheted border!

This project is great for beginners and can be made using only two balls of yarn and a 8.0 MM hook. I used Bernat Blanket yarn, but they also have adorable Baby Blanket colors as well! This yarn is super soft... all of the babies I've made blankets for seem to find them rather cozy! Really, any bulky or chunky yarn will do for the exact pattern I am listing below. My other favorite bulky/chunky yarns that would work well (or even better, depending on your preferences!) are Lion Brand's Wool-Ease Thick & Quick (actually for some reason my favorite yarn I've tried so far!), Wool-Ease Chunky, or Caron Big Cakes.

Below is a completely free pattern! I will also be sharing it on Ravelry and Craftsy for you to save/download for free, or you can download it here directly off my site!

Row 3-Finish is a repeat of Row 2.
