Reading Crochet Patterns in... (#3) German

Hey everyone! I am back with another post for my series "Reading Crochet Patterns in...". This series so far has been a lot of fun and very informative for me! I love learning new words in different languages, and to combine two of my hobbies is pretty exciting!

Today's language is German. German is spoken in several different countries, and to me just sounds so beautiful and interesting! For reasons we won't speak of, it is looked at as a harsh language, but it is actually beautiful and I love how logical the compound words are.

So here we go, This is a list of useful words to look for if you come across German patterns. Please not that these translations are all my own, so I may not have included EVERYTHING there is to know about crocheting in German. If you are a native or fluent speaker and have more vocabulary for me to add (or any corrections, which would be super helpful) please comment below or email me at craftytuesdaycrochet@aol.com. If you are reading this and want to participate in helping me out with other languages, or want to request a language, please feel free to comment or email me for that as well! Thank you all for being interested in this series!
